It is not very difficult to achieve wellbeing and balance in life once we feel the positive difference that simple little changes in the everyday life can cause. Simply, regulating the day can make things automatically fall in its place and reduce a lot of stress we go through. Little changes like correcting sleep cycle, meal times, bit of exercise or yoga, reducing salt, sugar and fat from diet, herbs over chemicals etc can make a huge difference which, one can quickly get addicted to due to its positive impact.

A very wrong practice that majority of us have got used to is popping pills for any kind of ailment like pain killers, paracetamol, cough syrups etc. Allopathy, treats by chemically killing the problems. But chemicals, don’t know what is good for you and what is bad. So, they kill everything. While Allopathic medicines can be the better option for fast relief and life saving during emergency or in infectious diseases, alternative and natural treatments concentrate on strengthening the body’s defence mechanism, making the body fit enough to heal itself and keep it immune to diseases. They may require a little patience before they start showing their effectiveness, but they surely can cure. A combination of western and traditional approaches for better health can be very effective.

But like chemical cures, traditional or alternative methods can also have side effects if not taken properly and therefore, proper knowledge, diagnosis and correct dosage are very important.
A serious problem to alternative therapies is the widespread of quakes or fraud doctors. Quacks practicing Ayurveda, Homeopathy and traditional Chinese medicine are too common everywhere and most of them start practicing after only a 6 months diploma in the particular medicine or something similar from any local institute. This can be too dangerous and may result in severe side effects if not diagnosed or administered properly by an authorised practitioner. Like allopathy, ayurveada, homeopathy etc also require intense training before one can start practicing it. I believe any form of treatment is good as long as a qualified practitioner aimed at keeping one alive and healthy without disturbing body’s natural balance does it.
